There's a lot not being said here, but it's not like it's any of Yang's business. She just met the guy, after all. The Maidens and Ozpin, the Relics, the Twin Gods, Salem...it's so much to have to process, and Yang is still mad as hell at Ozpin for keeping silent as long as he did. She's barely had any time since Jinn revealed all to actually sit with the story she told them and try to process it.
