"One more shot, coming up!" Now that Akihiko has served her up an easy shot, it's time to bring this to a close. As the Alligator falls, Yang positions herself underneath it, hair still flaming, eyes still burning red. She hadn't known if the initial strike would be enough to finish it off, or if Akihiko could control the lightning, so she hadn't expended all the stored up energy; she'd saved some for a coup de grace in case it hadn't worked out.
Not so long ago, she'd have blown the entire store of energy in one strike, and if it hadn't been enough, the Alligator would still be standing and she'd be running on empty. Her metal hand curls into a fist, a reminder of how far she's come in a short amount of time. She holds it upwards and allows the force of her Semblance and gravity to do the rest.
The Alligator breaks in half, falling apart on Yang's fist along with the rest of the damage she and Akihiko have inflicted upon it, dead foliage. Yang cuts her Semblance and her hair and eyes return to normal as she turns to Akihiko, thumbing her nose cheekily as she does so.
"You're pretty good. Did you know the lightning would do that?"
