Some of that electricity hits Deadpool, and he jitters in place for a moment. He somehow manages to keep shooting, though, and besides the faint smell of fried pork now wafting through the air, appears unaffected.

"Gotta try harder than that, snappy!"

He hears Optimus screaming, and that gets Deadpool to turn away from the gators and run back in his direction. Cool new friend who can turn into a truck takes precedent over going maximum effort on some rude alligators. Deadpool manages to grab one of the Picasa by the ankle and pull it off Optimus, but that leaves an opening for the semi-flattened gator to snap its jaws shut on his ankle.

"Shit!" Sorry, Optimus, he's R-rated and gets to say words like that. Deadpool kicks at the gator with his free leg while levelling one of his pistols at the other Picasa.
