It was weird being able to tell the story as freely as she was. The fact that there were no people to panic over having their perception of the world flipped upside down, no Grimm to be attracted to that. There wasn't as much point in keeping it a secret and that felt oddly freeing to Ruby.

She gives a little bit of a shrug.

"Who knows? There's always a lesson to be learned from stories like that though, right? So they could end up coming in handy somewhere down the line." She was going to remain an optimist here, at the very least.

"I loved stories like those growing up. So if you've got your share of them I'd be happy to swap stories with you."
