Neither of them are expecting Serph to sing - M-Bot drops half an octave for its next note, and V's humming definitely fails to match, much less harmonize - but after a moment to recover, the effort is appreciated, the two of them trying again.

Especially since Serph is much better at carrying a tune than either of them, right now.

V is, not relaxed, but certainly calmer, able to perceive more of what's around them past their pain and the stress of the situation overall.
