"I might know you," Jack offers, "but it's been a long time since I got out on the party circuit, or, uh, out of the palace at all, so you might need to remind me." He thinks he'd remember a guy cut like that. Not usually his type, but he can appreciate it.

Not that he can do anything with appreciation. Not in public. Not with who he is. But he can be friendly at least!
