Because there's nothing wrong with using actual tools that are available. Anyway, I wasn't entirely sure it would still work or not.

[He gets the replacement tire, hefting it into place with a grunt. Then it's time to replace the lugnuts, but at least that doesn't take long. He gives Knives a nod to set the car down again.]
