The path back is anything but smooth but is at least not at the breakneck speed leaving had been, and thus both better and .. worse. Bumps hit slowly are just as jarring as ones hit quickly, and though Sephiroth is avoiding the worst of them, there's still plenty.

But aside from the rumble of the engine and the squeak of shocks and rattling crates, nothing interrupts their return. Whatever Vincent needs to take care of.. opportunity doesn't arise.
