A fishing rod wouldn’t be a bad idea either, if the opportunity for fishing presents itself. Why yes, Ren is already making plans for how he’ll contribute to the group. A snapped Don’t waste my time with this sentimental bullshit is the best answer Ren thinks he’s likely to earn from such an inquiry, and the peace he’s brokered with Akechi feels too fragile to risk right now.
