Serph lets go of Heat's shoulder, but he can barely keep his frustration down even though he doesn't show it on his face or body language. No, the other places are nothing like the Junkyard. Had he mistaken someone's sigil for an Atma brand?

Does Heat simply need more time to adjust to this new world? Maybe he would better understand as he butts up against more parts of this world that do not align with his understanding of how things work. Maybe if Heat were to meet Jack and John, he would be able to see how different they are to denizens of the Junkyard.

"It's not like that."

It's not fine.

But Heat is right about one thing. They're still going to Nirvana, surrounded by hostiles.

He steps forward so he's not lagging behind. He's done talking about this for now; they have other monsters to hunt.
