One of Ren's friends is a tiny rich girl who wields a giant battle ax and a grenade launcher. Ren learned a long time ago to make no assumptions about a person's fighting skill based on how they appear. If Faith is armed and says she knows what she's doing, Ren trusts her at her word.

Still, there's strength in numbers. Maybe he'll just ... tag along, if she's amenable to him sticking around.
