She would much rather climb up on her own rather than be lifted like a child, but she doesn't say it and instead channels her annoyance into prying that much harder at the boards covering the hole in the ceiling. When her fingers aren't enough, she pulls out her knife to work between the boards and the ceiling to give extra leverage.
One by one the boards come away and Maggie slides them down the edge of the desk to rest on the floor. She doesn't hear anything moving in the ceiling, so maybe, she thinks, they will luck out and there won't be any monsters hidden between the floors.
Once she has enough of the boards pulled away the hole is large enough for them both to fit through, she turns her attention back to SecUnit.]
