Hi everyone! By request, we are posting the monster CR meme! One of our players noted we’ve got a lot of monsters with pack or similar instincts and mental changes, and it seems like a good time to start working on those. And if you would like to plan for other changes, that is just fine as well.

This meme is for RP planning centered around monster changes, be they physical, mental, or behavioral! Feel free to comment, plot, and plan all sorts of monster shenanigans!

Character: Millions Knives
Monster: Celestial / Angel
Current Traits: As of the end of the April event, he'll have white angel wings and a blue eye on the back of each hand. They seem to move and blink independently of his own vision, but have markings identical to his own eyes when caught in bright direct light, and also remain visible when he uses his claws.
Upcoming Traits: Thinking his next trait will be commanding voice, if anyone wants to opt in to play with that! He's already trying to bully and coerce cr into doing what he wants so it felt apt, smh. For non-angel traits, sometime soon I'd like to add plant speech and nature affinity.

RP Plans/Desired CR: Knives is still new to the setting and very pissed off about induced monster transformations, as one of his extreme fears is becoming a guinea pig for humans. This has made him paranoid around the Convoy, on top of learning humans in other worlds tend to be just as shitty as he considers them to be in his own, and he eventually snapped and tried to kill Akechi.

Luckily Vash intervened, and his main priority in the game right now is protecting Vash and avoiding anything that might accelerate monster changes, so he'll be back to reining it in for a while and being slightly more chill toward human characters? Perhaps??

He's highkey delusional, so to convince himself getting monstered isn't So Bad, he's going to accept the angel changes as proof of his preexisting divinity and superiority to all those gross ass other monsters. Keep huffing that copium, Knives :) I am totally going to slap him with more drastic temporary changes in future events lmao... I just need to space it out to avoid him going into total meltdown mode too quickly.

In general, he's trying to assess who can be useful to him and will help him get what he wants. He can be very volatile, violent and manipulative, so if you'd rather not deal with him or only in a limited capacity, his permissions/opt out is here. On the flipside if you want negative cr and to put your character through the wringer with him... points at eyes points at you...! Let's talk.

Hey, uh, if you want someone to challenge that god complex, this guy canonically does that to a lot of people in his game, and is willing to challenge everyone ~~including the protagonist...~~

If you want someone to slowly try to convert Knives to the Power of ~~Friendship~~Cooperation.

HE CAN TRY... although I can't guarantee success after like 150 years of becoming entrenched in his mentality, he might at least be grudgingly open to cooperation.

I imagine Knives would be wholly unimpressed with the humans of Serph's world too LMAO, given that they were the ones to make the already deteriorating world worse.

Even if Serph would ultimately disagree with Knives' worldview and would intervene if Knives turned on any of the other Drifters, that's not something that would earn negative CR from Serph. Not sure how well Commanding Voice would work on Serph, given that he will also have that trait and he's been shown to resist his own creator's commands. Might be interesting in its own way?

HELLO ANGEL BRO... yeah he's already pretty sympathetic to Serph given their similar origins so if he learns about what the humans are like?? fuck those guys dawg

clearly they need to have a Commanding Voice-off? lmao we can play it by ear and see what scenarios come up! In Serph's case he'd rather use conventional persuasion/manipulation than a more forceful ability anyway.

These two need to touch base again and commiserate about how much they hate this place or something. Okay commiserate isn't the word for these two I'm sure. XD;;

🤝 hater squad... Knives is also still curious about his powers because of how much they resemble a Plant's, so I'm sure he'll pester him more about it at some point.
