Hello all prospective Drifters, and thank you for taking a look at Route 666! Our next TDM is going up on JULY 15th our Reserves open on JULY 20th and Applications open on the JULY 25th through the 31st!

And in the meanwhile, this post is for potential players to introduce themselves and characters they’re thinking of playing! Get excited, get planning with other folks, talk about potential monsters you’re interested in, etc! We are also opening this up for current players to post ATPs to draw in some new castmates and the like!

New Players, if you would like a template, here is one:

I'd have to check the game rules again to see if I'd have to nerf Rise Raph's ninpo but man he'd be like AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA NOT AGAIN---wait wings oh those are cool at least it's not taking over my FACE

I don't think it should have to be nerfed? They have specific things that need to but I think that involves more like...temporal and spatial abilities.

I'll have to doublecheck but I just got my Rise Raph into another game and I had to nerf it a little bit so I just want to be sure.

It's okay Raphie... just...don't stare at Donnie's bird legs. Or the wings. Or the fact that Leo's losing pieces of himself and kinda looks a little paler than usual.

Just don't play any Michael Jackson around Leo; he'll end up dancing and losing even more.

Though if I went Celestial with Rise Raph... wouldn't his angelic possibly harm Leo being undead? D:a

THAT...is an excellent question. I...think it would depend on a few things. The whole light/dark thing might keep them from each other if they have to tolerate it for too long. I don't think Celestials outright harm Undead though, unless I missed something. There are potential ways it can happen however.

Hmm, I'll have to think on it. Because that'd devastate Rise Raph something fierce.

I'll look at the traits again but I don't THINK Celestials outright harm them. I figured it might be something that could happen when powers activate but still be allowed near them.

I know the mods ultimately choose since looking at apps you have to give other options but hmm. Things to ponder!

Usually you get first choice out of your three, but even if you do get a base and end up not liking it, you can change it with points later!

Oh that's good to know! As I said in the EMP it's like, I have general ideas for both Raphs, but either trait section could potentially work for them. I like exploring options like that.

Yep! And you can still mix and match from other monsters even after your main monster form, you just buy the traits with points. I've been sticking with Volare/harpy mainly for Dee, but I also gave him the Swarm: Limited Telepathy thing too last month 8D He is not aware of this.

Oh what, really??? I thought you had to stick to the same house of monsters. So you do the original six from the first monster route then with points you can get new ones from an alternate monster house? :O

OH BOY Donnie gets to get some brain thoughts from others oops.

Exactamundo! First six from your monster base are free, and you can get up to six additional from that same base with points at 5pts each, but if you want different class monster things you can get them for 10 pts each... Or if it's a featured monster for the log month, you can get them discounted at 5.

I...am not sure he can receive thoughts but he can send simple things like sentences and emotions hahaha

I must have misunderstood the description of the monster bases then! That's actually really interesting. So if you wanted to really screw over a character, could you do conflicting ones? Or do the mods have final say?

Somewhere out there someone just gets Donnie thoughts of "their truck cool want to dissemble it for parts"

It was a bit confusing to me at first but I think that's to be expected with so many options.

Iiii am not sure about the conflicting thing, I was just wondering that actually. Tried looking through the FAQs to see if anyone asked... If not, that'd probably something to ask about. :|a

Yeah there are a LOT of options but the fact that you could potentially mix and match sounds awesome. *one year later you're just a slug* NEAT.

Hmmm, definitely something to ask about then. I would say...prooooobably not? But man if you could that'd be hysterical and awful.

LOL YEAH I think if it really inhibits your ability to play a char then it's probably a no go. Unless it's rise!Raph and he reverts to his 15-year old tendencies to talk to and beat himself up then this is normal- I KID

Yeah, that makes the most sense. Maybe one or two traits doesn't spark the BLARG RAR hate or whatever. Especially since there is some crossover here and there with other bases.
